We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - Senior Executive Writer .

The Senior Executive Writer will serve as a strategic partner to the Office of the CEO, playing a critical role in articulating the CEOs vision, priorities, and voice across a wide range of high-impact communications. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Communications for the Office of the CEO, this individual will be a core contributor to the CEOs communications platform, creating and curating compelling content that advances the companys mission, brand, and business goals.

This is a high-visibility role that requires precision, agility, discretion, and creativity. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled communicator with deep experience in executive writing and storytelling, capable of producing best-in-class content across multiple formats and audiences, including employees, clients, partners, media, and board members. The role demands an understanding of the CEOs voice, strategic priorities, and the broader business context.

The ideal candidate is a trusted communicator and strategic thinker who thrives in complexity, brings clarity to ambiguity, and delivers under pressure. They are equally comfortable drafting a keynote speech, shaping the narrative of a board presentation, or capturing the CEOs authentic voice in a social media post. Above all, they must demonstrate sound judgment, professional integrity, and a deep commitment to excellence in executive storytelling. An understanding of artificial intelligence is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executive Messaging: Craft high-impact communications that reflect the CEOs voice and vision, including keynote speeches, strategic talking points, video scripts, and public remarks for internal and external audiences.
  • Internal Communications: Develop internal leadership communications such as employee emails, organizational updates, year-end messages, and content for CEO-led town halls and video briefings.
  • External Engagements: Prepare external correspondence for key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders; support CEO participation in conferences and events with tailored messaging and materials.
  • Board Communications: Develop content and communications in support of board engagement, including briefing materials, meeting prep, and executive summaries.
  • Presentation Development: Design and deliver presentation materialsslides, talking points, scriptsthat elevate the CEOs voice in strategic forums.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications/Skills: Relevant experience in executive communications, speechwriting, or related disciplines within a corporate or high-stakes public environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
    • Proven ability to work directly with C-suite leaders, interpreting complex business topics and transforming them into clear, compelling narratives.
    • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the versatility to move fluidly between formal, strategic, and conversational tones.
    • Experience developing content for a range of channels, including live events, digital platforms, internal comms, and external media.
    • Adept at managing fast-paced, dynamic workloads and shifting priorities in a confidential and deadline-driven environment.
    • Self-driven, self-motivated, and moves forward with agility.
    • High EQ and the interpersonal ability to collaborate effectively across business units, legal, compliance, marketing, HR, and other functions.
    • Intellectually curious, willing to challenge, bring new ideas to the table in pursuit of better.
    • Understanding of business communications technologies and platforms.
Compensation

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicants experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
