Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their team. As a Billing Specialist, you will be part of the Billing Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent multi-tasking abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Billing Specialist

Location: Seneca, SC

Pay Range: $13.50 per hour

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What's the Job?

• Process insurance billing electronically and manually when needed.
• Run weekly outstanding claims reports and research any issues with insurance.
• Monitor eMedix daily, clearing any errors or rejected claims.
• Assist with annual Debt Set Off research and preparation of data.
• Provide assistance and backup to other areas of the Billing Department.

What's Needed?

• Strong computer skills, including experience with Excel spreadsheets.
• Ability to work independently while sitting at a desk for the majority of the workday.
• Excellent multi-tasking abilities.
• Customer service experience.
• Any medical billing knowledge or experience is helpful but not required.
