We Search People are working with a premier luxury custom home builder in McLean, VA, known for delivering exceptional craftsmanship on high-end new builds and large-scale residential renovations. We’re seeking a Superintendent with a strong background in custom home construction to manage on-site operations and ensure projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations for luxury custom home projects, from ground-breaking through final handover
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain project timelines and quality
• Ensure all work meets design specifications, building codes, and safety standards
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, and compliance
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, architects, and designers to resolve field issues efficiently
• Manage and document site activities, inspections, and change orders using construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore, CoConstruct)
• Lead site meetings and maintain open communication with clients and the project team

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in custom residential construction (luxury homes preferred)
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and deliver high-end projects on time and within budget
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety practices, and quality control standards
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency with construction management platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
