Lami Wood Products Corp. has been in business since 1975 making specialty cabinets for residential and commercial remodels and new construction. Elite Stone and Marble, a division of Lami Wood Products Corp. provides the fabrication and installation of granite, quartz, marble, and solid surface materials. Role Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice or Experienced Counter installer to join our team at Elite Stone and Marble. In this role, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship while assisting an experienced installer in the fabrication and installation of counter tops. You will gain practical skills that will enable you to contribute effectively to our project and grow within the organization. Responsibilities:

Assist in the measurement, cutting, and installation of the counter top under the guidance of senior installer
Learn to interpret drawings to ensure precise installation.
Support the preparation and maintenance of tools and equipment necessary for installation.
Participate in the safe handling and transportation of materials to job sites.
Help maintain a lean and organized work environment during installations
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction

Required :

High school diploma or equivalent
Willingness to learn and follow directions
Ability to lift heavy material and perform physical tasks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred:

Prior experience in construction, carpentry or related field
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in installation processes
Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
