About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of empowering and connecting people through the healing practices of art. The successful candidate will be a strategic and visionary leader, with a proven track record in advancing the work of a mission-based organization. This role involves shaping the organization's future, leading a team, and overseeing all aspects of the business, including strategy, programs, fundraising, community engagement, finances, operations, advocacy, and human resources. The Executive Director will be responsible for building and modeling excellent organizational culture, providing inspirational leadership, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. They must be adept at relationship building, both within the organization and with external partners, and have a strong commitment to social justice and the arts as a medium for healing and engagement. The role requires a champion for healing, social justice, and the mission, with a focus on supporting individuals impacted by trauma.
