Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

General Manager

The General Manager perfects and maximizes the guest and associate experience and ensures the overall success of the hotel, using strong leadership skills to drive revenue, maximize profits, and ensure quality. Our General Managers effectively manage and motivate associates to ensure achievement of overall financial results, as well as guest and associate satisfaction.

What Youll Do:

• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service-oriented manner.
• Effectively manage and control all operational expenses including labor, overtime, supplies, etc., enforce the companys procurement guidelines, and implement cost saving strategies.
• Guest Service: Ensure that the hotel meets/exceeds brand standards for guest satisfaction.
• Analyze service and quality issues, identify training needs, ensure implementation of training programs to optimize results, and adhere to the company training guidelines and policies.
• Provide leadership support and direction to the sales team, take an active role in the preparation and implementation of the hotels annual Marketing plan, make sales calls to Key accounts, and capitalize revenue opportunities.
• Conduct daily meetings with each department head/manager to review prior days outcomes and todays goals.

About You:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of hotel management or supervisory experience.
• Marriott Brand experience preferred.
• Commitment to work on weekends and holidays if needed.
• Excited about and willing to take 2 - 4 training courses per year.
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and lead teams toward consistent operational excellence
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems (PMS, POS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
