AWS/CES is looking for a Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator

📍 Location: Auburn Hills, MI

💲 Pay: up to $78,000 annually

📅 Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Coordinator to support the development and execution of workplace safety, environmental compliance, and risk mitigation initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain company HSE programs and policies.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• Deliver training on health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
• Lead incident root cause analysis and prevention planning.
• Monitor key HSE performance indicators and reporting.
• Oversee waste management and recycling initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on workplace safety strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an HSE role.
• OSHA 30 or CSP certification (preferred).
• Experience with Workers’ Compensation and Return-to-Work programs.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state health and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
