Human Resources Director

About the RoleAs the Human Resources Director, you will oversee all aspects of HR, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, benefits administration, and organizational development. You will work closely with leadership to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, support staff well-being, and implement best practices that align with the organization's mission and values.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic HR leadership to support organizational goals and culture
Manage and enhance HR policies, procedures, and systems
Lead recruitment and retention efforts across departments
Oversee performance management, training, and professional development
Support DEI initiatives and create an inclusive work environment
Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations
Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational change
7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Knowledge of Massachusetts employment law and nonprofit HR practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative leadership style
Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
A commitment to equity, inclusion, and employee well-being
Experience in a mission-driven or human services organization is a plus
