Job Description
Summary
The Customs Compliance Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of compliance specialists and ensuring that all customs activities align with international regulatory standards. This position involves managing daily operational tasks, providing guidance to team members, and serving as the primary liaison with the Customs Compliance Supervisor. This is an on-site only position and remote work is not an option at this time.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of Entry Specialists and Customs Compliance Clerical Support staff
• Ensure adherence to customs regulations and effective resolution of compliance issues.
• Facilitate training, development, and continuous improvement of team performance.
• Communicate updates and changes in compliance regulations to the team.
• Monitor and report on operational metrics to drive accountability and success.
Qualifications
• Customs Broker License issued by US Department of Homeland Security
• Proven experience in customs compliance or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze compliance processes and implement improvements.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
