Live-In Caregiver — Gentle Care Estates (6-Bed Assisted Living)

Location: Perris, CA
Schedule: Live-in (on site); rotating days off
Compensation: Flat salary (DOE) or per Diem for part time Live-in + private furnished room + meals provided + all utilities covered
Employment type: Full-time, at-will

About Us

Gentle Care Estates is a small, home-like assisted living facility serving seniors who need support with daily living while maintaining dignity and independence.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Provide personal care/ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, continence care, and mobility assistance.

Medication assistance per policy (MAR documentation, PRN notes, refills pick-up as assigned).

Prepare/serve three meals and snacks; clean kitchen & dining after each meal.

Housekeeping & laundry: daily tidying, weekly deep clean of bedrooms/bathrooms; AM & PM cleaning rounds.

Resident safety: answer call bells promptly, fall-prevention checks, night rounds as scheduled.

Companionship & activities: cards, coloring/crafts, dominoes, light exercise/walks.

Documentation: daily notes, incident reports, vitals/weights as ordered, appointment logs.

Coordination: assist with appointments, receive deliveries/meds, communicate changes to Administrator.

Maintain a professional, warm, and respectful environment at all times.

Qualifications

Prior caregiving/RCFE experience preferred (will train the right person)

Ability to lift/assist safely; reliable and patient

Background clearance (Live Scan), TB test/health screening (LIC 503), and CPR/First Aid

Basic English for charting/communication ; Spanish a plus

Valid ID; driver’s license a plus

Schedule & Expectations

Live-in position with shared on-call coverage; rotating days off set by the Administrator.

Must follow infection control, resident rights, and Title 22 regulations.
