WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a CT technologist for a 13-week contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in NYC.

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician.
\n
• Set up, operate, and maintain x-ray equipment according to policy and procedure.
\n
• Ability to explain procedures to patients.
\n
• Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques.
\n

Job Requirements: \n

• Maintains current certification/licensure as required for position.
\n
• Maintains adequate contrast media and biopsy/drainage supplies in each scanning room.
\n
• 2 year of CT Tech experience. \n
\n
• BLS from the American Heart Association required.
\n
