Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools. - Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production machinery including: - Injection and blow molders - Fillers, cappers, and labelers - Case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers - Maintain and troubleshoot facility systems such as: - Chillers, air compressors, HVAC systems - Reverse Osmosis and water filtration units
Electrical Systems & Controls
- Maintain and troubleshoot industrial control systems, including PLCs and HMIs. - Work safely with high-voltage (480VAC) and low-voltage (24VDC) systems. - Modify control logic and electrical circuits to enhance equipment performance.
Documentation & Reporting
- Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and parts usage reports accurately. - Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and recommend procurement as needed. - Provide feedback on recurring issues and suggest long-term solutions.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all plant safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements. - Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. - Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Education & Experience
- Associate's Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in high-speed manufacturing (e.g., beverage, packaging, plastics).
Technical Skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals. - Skilled in PLC troubleshooting and programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens). - Capable of performing fabrication tasks including MIG, TIG, or stick welding. - Familiar with CMMS for tracking maintenance activities.
