This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting‑edge industrial processes, developing and maintaining PLC and HMI systems to enhance efficiency and functionality. Beyond the initial project, you will have the chance to contribute to other innovative initiatives within the company. Responsibilities Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems using languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block. Design, develop, and maintain Human‑Machine Interface (HMI) systems in coordination with PLC systems. Collaborate with automation engineers to design and implement effective control systems. Debug and troubleshoot PLC and HMI software to ensure optimal system performance. Maintain and modify existing systems and provide post‑go‑live support. Interpret and understand control system and HMI plans and specifications. Ensure compliance with industry safety standards for all automated systems. Document and maintain all PLC and HMI program revisions and updates. Train and guide technical personnel and operators on system use and troubleshooting. Must‑Have Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering OR 4 years of related experience. Proven experience as a PLC Programmer, including hands‑on commissioning of smart factories. Proficiency with Mitsubishi (GX Works) PLC programming tools. Expertise in major PLC tools such as Schneider Electric, Allen‑Bradley, and Siemens. Experience with HMI design and development tools. Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Authorized to work in the U.S. Nice‑to‑Have Skills Experience in commissioning production equipment within a battery manufacturing plant. Knowledge of compliance standards in automation and safety regulations. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team environment. Experience with advanced debugging and troubleshooting techniques. Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean.
