Job Description

A full-time, contract Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to support students aged 2 through 22 with moderate to severe disabilities. This role involves providing specialized therapy in areas such as assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and language development delays. You will work primarily with kindergarten through young adults, delivering high-quality interventions and evaluations within a collaborative environment in Dover, DE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individualized speech-language therapy tailored to each students needs
• Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing to assess communication abilities
• Produce clear, comprehensive reports documenting assessments and progress
• Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives aligned with student goals
• Collaborate effectively with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support developmental progress
• Work confidently with students who have moderate to severe disabilities, ages 2 to 22 years

Qualifications:

• Must hold or be eligible for a Delaware state license as an SLP or hold SLP-CFY status
• Experience with moderate to severe disabilities is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility and problem-solving capabilities to adapt therapy approaches as needed
