Job Description

A Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Allegany, NY. This contract position is available for the current school year and involves providing direct speech and language services to students across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Experience working with school-aged children from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Strong understanding of school-based speech and language pathology practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse student populations.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary collaboration and compliance with educational regulations.
