Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/CertificationsRequired:
●Hearing Aid Dispenser or Audiologist License or Registration as required by state law.
●Training as required by state law.
●Hearing Aid Specialist:oAssociate or bachelor’s degree in hearing instrument sciences or a high school diploma/equivalent, associate, or bachelor’s degree in any field other than hearing instrument sciences and successful completion of a training program in hearing instrument sciences approved by the Board.
●Must hold current certification through the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences (NBC-HIS)oPassing scores on both the International Hearing Society (HIS) Written and Practical Dispensing Examinations.

●Costco Ear Impression Certification demonstrating a passing score on written and practical tests.
●Hazard Communication and JHA (initial assignment), Professionals HIPAA Training (prior to working in department), Costco Hazardous Materials DOT Training Course: Part 1 (within 30 days and then every year), Costco Hazardous Materials DOT Training Course: Part 2 (within 30 days and then every year), Ear Impression Certification: Written & Practical (within 30 days), Audiometric Evaluation & Fitting Protocol Acknowledgement (prior to working in department and then every year), Health Center FCRA (prior to working in department), Hazmat Universal Waste Training-Short Version (within 30 days and then every year), Option STOP Training (within 30 days), any additional certifications or training as required by department.
●Must be current on annual safety training within 30 days of hire. Recommended:
●Management experience preferred.
●Computer, math, and customer service skills preferred.
●Strong organizational and time management skills.
