Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with an active IL license for an Interventional Radiology position in a Level 1 Trauma Center with on-call and mandatory floating requirements.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Interventional Radiology and Pain Management departments of a hospital setting
• Level 1 Trauma Center environment with mandatory float to Radiology and Pain departments as needed
• Day shifts, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with some weekend shifts required
• On-call rotation includes weekdays (12am-8am) and 24-hour on-call coverage for weekends and holidays, distributed among all staff
• Uses Cerner EMR for charting
• Staff are required to wear lead protection equipment
• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care for patients requiring interventional radiology and pain management procedures
• Team-based support provided when floated outside primary competency area
• Required to adhere to Navy Blue scrub dress code (not provided)
• Maximum 5 days of RTO allowed, no more than 2 consecutive days, with no RTO permitted on weekends, holidays, or days immediately before or after holidays
• Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted at the local rate

• Active Illinois RN license required at time of application
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Must be willing and able to float within the Radiology and Pain departments and potentially to other units within 50 miles as needed
• Proof of COVID vaccination required prior to start
