• Location: Klamath Falls, Oregon (Zip: 97601) – Oregon nursing jobs\n
• Facility Setting: Acute Care – Progressive Care Unit (Stepdown)\n
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/19/2026)\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights (1730-0615); every other weekend and holidays required\n
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1970 - $2110\n
• Charting System: Epic EMR\n
• Orientation: 1-2 shifts based on experience\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon or compact state\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown nursing experience\n
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications\n
• Proficiency in telemetry, cardiac drip titration (insulin, heparin, cardizem, nitro, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutamine), and basic rhythm interpretation\n
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays\n
• Professional appearance; no specific scrub color required\n

\n\nPCU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac, post-cath/pacer, pneumonia, COVID-19, ETOH, and ICU downgrade diagnoses\n
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips with support from remote tele and monitor technicians\n
• Titrate cardiac and insulin drips according to physician orders\n
• Collaborate with charge nurse, nurse aides, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team\n
• Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR\n
• Participate in unit orientation and comply with department policies\n
